Meet Skylar Jones, Graphics Manager at Kingston.

Skylar has been with the Kingston team for over four years and creates some pretty amazing projects, often from scratch! Learn more about Skylar, his three year-old mini pig (!) and the two printing machines he can’t live without.

1. When and why did you join the Kingston team?
September 2014.  I was working in landscaping before I came to Kingston and I wanted a better job and Kyle offered me a position I could not refuse.

2. What is your favorite part about your job?
I have the freedom to be creative and engineer some projects when it’s required.

3. Coolest print project you ever worked on and why?
To be honest there have been a lot. The most recent was a POP display that I built from scratch that was made to look like a dog food bag that was filled with hundreds of tennis balls. It had a clear front and back made out of poly carbonate and the rest was made from ACM.

4. Favorite machine and why?
Acuity and Kongsberg as one. Together these 2 machines give me the ability to create some awesome graphics and displays. One without the other is like eating a PB&J with no jelly.

5. Any tidbits about yourself outside of work – kids? Hobbies? Fun facts?
I have a 14 year-old daughter and a 3 year-old mini pig. I like ATV riding, disc golf, video games, and building things with my hands when I have time.
