Meet Jesse York, one of the newest and brightest team members at Kingston!

When he’s not working on photography projects outside of Kingston, he’s learning a ton inside Kingston!

  1. What is your favorite part of your job at Kingston?

The people at Kingston, I have to say, is my favorite part of the job. They are helpful and just all around fun people to work with.

  1. What is the coolest Kingston project you have been a part of?

So far of the projects I’ve worked on, the one I’ve like the most has been the samples of different substrates for the sales reps to give out to potential new customers. It’s cool to see how each different substrate works printing and cutting wise.

  1. What is your favorite machine at Kingston?

My personal favorite is the I-cut machine. It’s a real time saver and a lot of fun to learn.

  1. What are you passionate about outside of work?

Outside of work I do photography and run my own freelance business during the weekends and down times during the week. I’ve been photographing for about eight years now and love every second of it.

  1. Any tidbits about yourself outside of work – kids? Hobbies? Fun facts?

If I’m not behind a camera or out with friends, I’m enjoying my time with my 3 year-old German Shepherd and husky mix dog named Django. I named him after one of my favorite Quentin Tarantino movies.

We’re glad to have you as part of our team, Jesse!
