Sales Representative Job Description

Research and capture new opportunities and move leads down the sales funnel. You will be responsible for finding and converting new leads into customers.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the printing industry is preferred
  • Working knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital)
  • A sales representative should be articulate, compelling, and verbally creative, being able to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Confident in communicating with prospects and customers via phone, cold calling, email, video conferences, and in-person
  • Experience using online sources to research and gather information
  • A sales representative needs to be organized with a good work ethic
  • A team player with a positive outlook
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to meet and report sales targets
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, set goals, and manage time effectively

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capture new opportunities by finding businesses that would benefit from our services
  • Build plans to initiate sales cycles to convert leads into customers
  • Heavy outbound calls while setting appointments
  • Extensive knowledge of our products and services
  • Achieve/exceed activity goals, sales metrics, and revenue targets
  • Oversee CRM database by logging sales activities, account information, and relevant customer communications
  • Communicate effectively with sales management and internal teams, prepare accurate reports, and meet deadlines
  • Acquire and maintain B2B print sales relationships
  • Learn new products introduced by the company, identify potential opportunities, and initiate sales cycles within existing accounts
  • Accurately capture client project specifications and communicate details to production teams to facilitate efficient and profitable work production
  • Develop a working understanding of pricing, create estimates and proposals, and present them to customers
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency in responding to customer requests and inquiries
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to identify potential sales leads and provide feedback on customer preferences or market trends
